Lance Maish
joined Miles & Peters in the spring of 2005. Mr. Maish
represents health care facilities and health care professionals,
emphasizing litigation, regulatory compliance, health care transactions,
and business planning.
Prior to joining Miles & Peters, Mr. Maish was an intern with in-house
legal counsel at Sirna Therapeutics (Sirna) and also worked as an intern at
Kendall, Dickinson & Koenig, P.C. (KDK). At Sirna, Mr. Maish, gained experience
drafting patent applications and licensing agreements for RNA interference
based therapeutics that target human diseases and while at KDK, Mr. Maish represented
companies in intellectual property and technology related transactions. By
combining his background in intellectual property with health care transactions,
Mr. Maish has experience in which to advise clients on protection of health
care related intellectual property.
