Elizabeth M. Merritt
Liz Merritt specializes in the representation of health care organizations and health care professionals, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, business planning, provider contracting, reimbursement issues, and civil litigation. Ms. Merritt also advocates for health care providers and organizations undergoing false claims investigations, recovery audits, and post-payment reviews. Her clients include a variety of health care providers, including physician practices, community health centers, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home care agencies, durable medical equipment suppliers, clinical diagnostic laboratories, and other health care providers.
Ms. Merritt’s health care background includes experience in both clinical and financial settings. Before attending law school, she worked at The Children’s Hospital in Denver and as an analyst for a hospital consulting company.
