Carol Manteuffel, JD, RN
Ms. Manteuffel practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation,
health law, administrative law (state and federal regulatory proceedings),
employment law, and medical malpractice. She represents health care
facilities, health care professionals and other parties in civil
litigation in the state and federal courts, and in administrative
proceedings before state and federal agencies. She lectures on various
issues in health law, employment law, regulatory compliance, licensing
issues, and risk management.
Ms. Manteuffel's background in nursing with experience working in long term
care, public health, baccalaureate nursing education and state licensing
regulation (Wyoming State Board of Nursing, Minnesota State Board of Nursing),
provides a unique combination of knowledge and experience to draw upon in
advising clients on civil liability in the health care industry, licensing
matters before regulatory agencies, and risk management strategies.
