Assisted
Living
Assisted living continues to be the fastest growing sector of the long-term
care continuum. There are now over 500 assisting living facilities in the
State of Colorado and this growth has not gone unnoticed by federal and state
regulators.
Miles and Peters represents owners and operators of assisted
living facilities with legal matters involving all aspects of facility
operation from transactional matters to regulatory compliance. The firm also
provides representation for sales and acquisitions of assisted living facilities,
including legal opinions concerning licensing and financing. The firm has
represented both large and small assisted living facilities - from those
that are owned and operated by large publicly held companies to those that
are owned and operated by one or more individual owners.
